The Great Lakes Loons have announced a new and exciting promotion for 2011, the Red Wings Legends Series presented by MidMichigan Health. The series, a fresh spin on the Loons successful Tigers Legends Series, will include six Loons home games paying tribute to former Red Wings greats. Three of the games will include a visit from Detroit Red Wings greats and three games will include a commemorative bobblehead of Red Wings legends. Loons fans can purchase the Red Wings Legends Ticket Package for just $54 for all six games.

The Red Wings Legends Ticket Package is available now through the Loons ticket office at 989.837.BALL. With the package, fans will receive box seats to each of the Loons six home games in the series, three Red Wings bobblehead giveaways and the opportunity to meet the three Red Wings legends visiting Dow Diamond.
“The Tigers Legends Series was very successful over the past two seasons and offered a unique opportunity for our fans to relive exciting moments in Tigers history,” said Chris Mundhenk, Loons vice president of marketing and entertainment. “The Red Wings Legends Series is a fresh approach to a similar concept and we are thrilled to partner with MidMichigan Health to deliver another great promotional series to our fans.”
Specific players that will be honored with a commemorative bobblehead, and players that will be scheduled to appear at Dow Diamond as part of the series will be announced at a later date.
